DONIC – a family owned company. Frank Schreiner, DONIC’s Managing Director and CEO and Karlheinz Schreiner the founder of the company were active players in the German Bundesliga. The head office is in Völklingen, Germany. DONIC also has a joint venture producing textiles in Zhongshan, China for some time.
DONIC – stands for success: Numerous World and European Champion titles have been achieved using DONIC equipment. The legendary Olympic Champion Jan-Ove Waldner and Jörgen Persson a multiple World Champion who have enjoyed their success using DONIC products, as have many other outstanding players world-wide. This long established tradition continues with the success of German National Team player Dima Ovtcharov. Dima is currently European Men’s Singles Champion and European Games winner and is the highest ranked non-Chinese player and the holder of many other championship titles.
DONIC tables – an international success story. DONIC tables were used at the World Championships in New Delhi (1987). This success story was repeated in 2006, when DONIC became the official table supplier and sponsor at the LIEBHERR World Team Table Tennis Championships in Bremen. DONIC continues to be first choice for events, such as the ITTF Men’s World Cup (2011-2019) and the European Table Tennis Championships 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013 in addition to numerous national and international tournaments.
